Formerly called Food Stamps, this program helps low-income families buy groceries they need to eat healthy.
Eligibility[]
In order to be eligible, you must have a total household income of $1815 for yourself plus $642 per extra person. Eligibility is determined based on your household income and is decided through the Board of Social Services.
Benefits[]
SNAP is distributed through the Families First EBT card monthly.
Requirements[]
Required to comply with a plan to get out of welfare and to participate in work activities for 20 hours a week.
